More Journaling

Good Tuesday morning! I am having a lot of fun with this journal! I finished this page yesterday. I used stencils from Stencil Girl & Crafters Corner. The image is from Deviant Scrap & there's some acrylic paint & washi tape at the bottom. The page is 9x12 in size.
For any of you that know Tweedles (the sweet little Pug girl) please keep her in your prayers. She is having some major health issues. Her link is:

More Stencils & Journal Pages

Good Monday morning! I've been in my journal this weekend & having some fun!
I've posted two pages with the heart page being the most recent. This is a Dylusions journal
& the pages are 9x12, so it's fairly large. The face in the heart is part of a stencil collection by Jane Davenport. These are both done with stencil layering, acrylic paint, ink & rub-ons. Have a great week!

New Mini Spray Journals

Happy Tuesday! I have finally started my Spray Journal class. The class is through http://creativeworkshops.ning.com/ with Martha Lever. I am really enjoying it! Not only does she cover a large journal (9x12) but also teaches us how to make these mini journals. These start with a sheet (22x30) of watercolor paper. You just stamp randomly over the sheet. When you're done...you cut or tear the pages that eventually form into this smaller journal (5x7). The pages are actually glued in the book but I think if I did another one I will try & tie the pages with a ribbon or something else other than glue. Hope you all have a great week!

Good Saturday morning! I believe I am ready for my Spray Journal Class....finally! I am one that does not like to be limited by a small selection. I want to buy every cute stencil I see! Some of these are from Stencil Girl & some from The Crafters Workshop. I love them both!
Next week I hope I am posting some pages from this new journal.
Have a wonderful & creative weekend!

New Artist Trading Cards

Good morning! Tuesday is upon us & my bit of Art Abandonment last week  made me switch gears. I forgot how much I love making ATC's! Here are three new ones which I will probably abandon down the road. They are so easy as they are nice & small I am going to make a point to abandon art at least one time every month. I simply love the feeling!

Abandoned Art

Good morning! I became part of an Art Abandonment group on Facebook a while back. I finally got around to abandoning some ATC's yesterday. I put 3 cards out with the printed message on the back of each. I did this with my sister about 2 or 3 years ago in Seattle & received a very nice note from a Starbucks' executive that happened to find one of the cards. These cards went to the library, post office & outdoor cafe tables. I just love this idea! Hope you all have a great weekend!

Latest Acrylic Painting

Happy New Year! 2013 is here & time for new challenges. This is my 3rd painting I did on Monday.
It is on a 8x10 inch canvas. I tried a little something different over on the left side using a syringe to enhance the look & texture a bit with some black paint. This is my favorite piece so far.
I hope you all have a wonderful & creative new year......
